Nora Landes is an art historian, writer, and archivist : )

My art historical research focuses on modern architecture as it relates to the history of industrialization, especially within an Italian context.

As an archival researcher and cataloger, I center cultural narratives that are often left out of institutional histories through the preservation and exhibition of archival materials.

Previously I worked at museums in the US and Italy. A former communications strategist with both in-house and agency experience, my clients have included the New Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, the Queens Museum, labor unions representing workers in the arts and entertainment industries, and other cultural institutions. I have also published articles on art and architecture and written artist bios for both emerging and established artists.

BA, Sarah Lawrence College
MA Art History, CUNY Hunter College (forthcoming)
